The Deutsch-Kanadischer Business Club Berlin-Brandenburg (DKBCBB) is a club of professionals, business people, and government representatives dedicated to promoting strong ties between:

• Canadians and Germans living in the Berlin-Brandenburg area
• Canadian companies based in Berlin-Brandenburg area
• Berlin-Brandenburg companies based in Canada
• German professionals and business people with an interest in Canadian business
• German business community
• Other DKBC clubs in Germany

Embassy of Canada

All DKBC clubs in Germany have the firm support of the Embassy of Canada in Berlin. With the location of the Canadian Embassy in Berlin, we have frequent contact with the Embassy and offer presentations by Embassy representatives from time to time.

An International Club

The club is not limited to Germans or Canadians. We have members and guests of many nationalities. However, all club activities are conducted in English. Club members are engage in a variety of businesses, professions, and government assignments, including transportation, marketing, law, business coaching, aerospace, electrical engineering, health care, medical science, website development, publishing, technical documentation, hair care, to name a few.

A Volunteer Organization

The DKBC BB Executive Committee is a fully volunteer organization, and receives no remuneration for any of its activities from any presenting company or organization. All expenses are met through membership fees and guest fees collected at club activities.

Events

Stammtisches (Monthly Meeetings)

Monthly Meetings (Stammtisches) are held each third Monday of each month at the Berlin Marriott Hotel one block north of Potsdamer Platz, and across from the Canadian Embassy.

Business Luncheons

As speakers and time permits, the club holds formal Business Luncheons to provide our members with the latest developments in the activities and plans of government and business leaders from both Germany and Canada. The venues for these activities varies, but is usually in a convenient downtown Berlin location.
